Working with Veterans with Brain Injury

Online Brain Injury & PTSD Training

As a first responder, medical, or behavioral health professional in the community, you may now or soon be caring for a veteran or their family member. By participating in the "Treating the Invisible Wounds of War (IWW)" online training series, you can develop a better understanding of the culture in which veterans and their families live, and learn how to properly identify, assess and treat the unique behavioral health issues that result from the trauma of war. The "Treating the Invisible Wounds of War" series is available free of charge through a partnership with: Army OneSource and the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska

The online courses cover:

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

  • Issues of Women Returning from Combat

  • A Primary Care Approach

  • Complete the Invisible Wounds of War course and provide the specialized care our soldiers and their family members need and deserve.
