Why It Matters
- Brain injury affects Nebraskans of all ages and can result from trauma, stroke, illness, lack of oxygen, infection, or other causes
- Many effects are invisible but may impact thinking, memory, emotions, behavior, and daily functioning
- Recognizing Brain Injury Awareness Month increases understanding, reduces stigma, and promotes hope and inclusion across our communities

Limited one- and two-hour street parking is available around the Capitol.
Additional longer-term parking may be available in the blocks south, east, and west of the building.
Accessible parking and entry are available on the north side of the Capitol.
